My name is Lindsey. I began my horse journey at five years old with a sweet horse named Shadow, a spirited but steady bay Arabian-Quarter Horse gelding. I never have stayed away from horses for too long, between the show ring, trail rides, and training. I’ve worked with a variety of horses over the years, yet still value the practice of learning.
I believe observation, curiosity, and trial-and-error are essential to horsemanship. The vision behind this blog is to connect and inform riders of all disciplines, so that we can have a better experience with our horses, and our horses with us. The heartbeat here is to ultimately create a deeper connection with your horse, for the seasoned and beginning rider alike. Here I showcase various training methods and riding practices, as well as horse health and care, and communication between rider & horse.
I look forward to getting to know all my fellow horsemen and horsewomen through this journey. Please message me with your stories and your feedback! We are all continuing to learn and grow together as we interact with these magnificent creatures.
